Nong Nooch Tropical Garden: Tickets, Shows and Getting There

Updated October 24, 2026 · 5 min read

Formal tropical gardens with clipped palms and colourful flower beds at Nong Nooch

Plan half a day for Nong Nooch Tropical Garden and arrive near opening if you want to walk. The official site lists daily hours of 08:00–18:00. The foreign-visitor garden ticket starts at €10.57, but ticket packages differ: garden entry, sightseeing bus, lunch and shows are not automatically the same bundle.

What the basic ticket covers

The GetYourGuide ticket description names the themed gardens and Dinosaur Valley. That is enough for visitors interested in landscaping, palms, orchids and the large dinosaur displays. Before booking, open the selected option and read the inclusions line by line. A picture of a show does not prove that the show is part of your ticket.

The official ticket site says online tickets remain valid for five days from booking and uses height, not age, for child rates: under 90 cm free, 90–140 cm at the child rate and above 140 cm at the adult rate. Confirm the exact rule on your chosen seller’s page.

Shows and the ethical trade-off

Nong Nooch is known for cultural performances and an elephant show. If your reason for visiting is the botanical collection, you can choose a garden-focused ticket and skip animal entertainment. World Animal Protection advises against performances and direct tourist contact with elephants; a “traditional” label does not settle the welfare question.

Show schedules are particularly prone to change. Check the board on arrival before building your route around a particular performance.

How much time?

Three hours covers a brisk selection of gardens and Dinosaur Valley. Four to five hours is more realistic if you want photographs, shaded pauses and a sightseeing-bus circuit. The grounds are large, so the bus is useful in heat or for anyone who cannot comfortably walk long distances. Confirm accessibility needs directly with the garden.

Getting there from Pattaya

Nong Nooch is in Na Jomtien, south of central Pattaya, at 34/1 Moo 7. It is not a casual walk from the beach district. Taxi or app-based car is the simplest independent option; agree how you will return before the driver leaves, or make sure your app has coverage there. A package with transfer costs more but removes that uncertainty.

Arriving at 08:00 gives cooler walking conditions. Take water, a hat and shoes suitable for long paved routes. Restaurants and refreshment points exist, but do not assume lunch is included.
